Fred Beauregard is a New York Police Department officer. He is part of the detail sent to the New York Museum of Natural History during the Museum Beast Killings. He is posted directly outside the Superstition Exhibition.
Beauregard denies Margo Green entrance to the exhibition, but she sneaks in through a side door. He later catches Margo fleeing the area in a panic. He goes into the exhibition to investigate a suspicious noise and is killed by Mbwun.
Beauregard's fellow officers fail to report his disappearance. He had been scheduled to leave on vacation at the end of his shift and they assume he simply left a few minutes early. His body is later found by visitors at the grand opening of the Superstition Exhibition, causing a mass panic.
